Why I joined the Aesthetic Field

I love dermatology! No two people are exactly the same, with the same problem and when a patient seeks our help, it’s our job to listen first. Listen and help them be heard. Then, staff and providers ask the right questions to guide us how to help that person best and connect with them. It can be a mystery sometimes, potentially solved by the end of the visit or solved after the pathology report returns.

Fun Fact

I love, love, love to travel and I am the happiest when looking forward to my next trip. Gladly share any suggestions you have for a future destination! I’ve hiked to the top of Mount Royal in Montreal, Quebec, CA. From there I’ve ridden a camel on the Arabian Peninsula and biked around Amsterdam while living on a houseboat. Tropics have included FL Keys, Barbados, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Fiji, Tahiti and New Zealand.

My favorite treatment to perform

The Miradry Procedure for hyperhidrosis! I have been really impressed with the results of the MiraDry and patient feedback. I appreciate having an option as some patients have either failed traditional therapy, had side effects or declined to use pharmacological treatments. It is wonderful to be able to offer patients an FDA approved, procedure to treat axillary hyperhidrosis only, with long lasting results.
